A forward thinking Academy found in Wolverhampton is currently seeking a graduate of physics to work within their Science department for the duration of the 2017/18 academic year supporting Key Stage 3 & 4 students as a Teaching Assistant. You will have access to this Training School's enhanced development and training provision enabling you to grow professionally. The successful applicant for this Teaching Assistant role will be a confident physics graduate who has a good understanding of how to work with children based on experience gained from a similar role and achieved a 2:2 or above in your degree. You will have a naturally positive approach and a naturally inspiring personality. You should possess aspirations of becoming an 'Outstanding' teacher and the confidence to be assertive if a challenging situation arises.

The Science department is renowned for its use of exciting resources including interactive whiteboards which help the pupils engage in lessons. You will be mentored by a skilled Senior Teacher who will guide you to excellence during your time at the school. As a Teaching Assistant at this school, you will be given access to the schools first class CPD programme. Part of your main duties will be the management and organisation of booster groups and smaller, individual sessions.
