We are looking for a passionate and motivated individual to join us as Retail Regional Manager, East Midlands. Save the Children is entering a new era. As Retail Regional Manager you will: Take full accountability for maximising sustainable & compliant contribution from a Save the Children retail region currently comprising of 11 shops (Allestree, Derby, Doncaster, Kimberley, Matlock, Newark, Retford, Sheffield, Tickhill, West Bridgford and Worksop) Manage existing and new shop teams to harness the publics desire to make a difference in childrens lives Develop capability and capacity to drive contribution; engaging with communities through our shop teams; and utilising all available Save the Children support achieve this Prioritise investment of time and resources To be successful you will have extraordinary and demonstrable ability to motivate, support and build strong relationships with volunteers and grow a team of shop managers in our new shops. You will have a strong understanding of, and enthusiasm for, high street retail and fashion with a commercial focus to identify opportunities to drive sales. In addition you will: Manage Community Shop Managers - most of our shops are volunteer run but going forward our new shops will have a Community Shop Manager Volunteer Management and Development Manage risk across all retail activities Have a good awareness of customer and commercial focus Have some knowledge or be prepared to develop awareness of Community Marketing Experience of working with volunteers is desirable.
